In Pricey Silicon Valley, a Plan to Preempt Homelessness, from Bloomberg. And Los Angeles is experimenting with guaranteed direct monthly stipends to people as a tool to reduce homelessness, according to the LA Times.

  5. Supply challenges and persistently higher mortgage rates continue to push housing prices higher, according to Reuters.

  8. Here is a cautionary tale about the challenges when towns stop growing.  While this applies more to NC rural communities, using regulatory tools to impair economic growth in urban areas can lead to similar challenges.
